Bike Cleanup Extravaganza!

It's time! I know you're excited! Saturday (tomorrow) morning is our big chance to clean the goatroom/bikeroom/basement together, cooperatively. Righteous, powerful, world-altering revolutionaries that we are, it should be a piece of cake! If/When you come down (9:30 am perhaps?) here are some ideas about what you might do to help.

1) Eat a snack! You'll need fuel, and I hope to find time tonight to make something tasty that you can brunch on!

2) Pursue one of the goals we set out at the meeting:
-Sort owned/active bikes from unowned and/or unactive bikes
-Put unclaimed bikes in boiler area temporarily (and take to freewheel in the afternoon?)
-Build bike hangers (hooks, boards, drills oh my!)
-Label reserved parking for owned/active bikes.
-Clear/clean sink area.
-Devise a plan for the refrigerator.
-Clean bathroom area.
-Clear general clutter.
-Clean the floor.
-Contemplate painting goals.
-Clear back rooms/graveyard in a similar way.
-Contemplate other goals... growrooms, saunas, etc.

3) Or, pursue your own goal! Get people to help you do anything productive/creative/progressive that you've always wanted to do down there, now is the time!

Anyway, I know we share this big crazy dream of a clean downstairs, so I hope you can donate a few hours. I promise that your hands may be greasy, your muscles tired, but your heart will so be warm and proud and swollen with contentment afterwards, you won't even notice. Also, your housemates will love you forever... particularly me!

love,
katy
